The role of Social Media Manager is responsible for amplifying our mission of creating unforgettable live music experiences by building a vibrant festival and events community. In this role, you will harness the power of social media to engage our audience, spread the word about our festivals and events, and create a sense of anticipation and excitement. Success in this role relies upon leveraging creative and strategic expertise to curate impactful social media campaigns that showcase the essence of our festivals and events, capturing the attention of music enthusiasts and inspiring them to join us on this incredible journey.

HERE’S WHERE YOU’LL BE SPENDING YOUR TIME:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, aligning with brand objectives and targeting key demographics to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Developing and keeping up to date brand guidelines and social media best practices, and ensuring the marketing team are following the guidelines.
- Creating compelling and visually captivating content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics, that reflects the spirit and energy of our festivals and events.
- Collaborating with internal teams to gather content, stories, and highlights from festivals and events and translate them into engaging social media campaigns.
- Utilising social media analytics to track and analyse campaign performance, report on key metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with the communications department and campaign managers to articulate brand voice to be used for all customer and community social media communications.
- Identifying and leveraging opportunities with influencers, artists, and industry partners to expand the reach and impact of social media campaigns.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging social media platforms and features, exploring new opportunities for audience reach and engagement.
- Managing the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand narrative across all platforms and campaigns.
- Staying informed about relevant industry events and news, incorporating them into social media content and leveraging real-time opportunities for increased engagement.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: at least 3 years experience
- Proficient in:
- Organic Instagram & Tiktok - in-app editing and posting. Snapchat, Soundcloud, Youtube is a bonus
- PremierPro
- CapCut
- Canva
- Word/Excel/Google Docs & Slides
- Bonus: Figma
